Camp Bharat is a three-day, two-night camp that exposes children to different aspects of Indian culture. It’s a wonderful way for the youth of our community to come together to dance, play, and enjoy creative and fun activities.
Campers and Counselors take part in traditional activities like Yoga, Rangoli, and folk dances as well as practical activities such as sewing, carpentry, and changing tires. The children also play Indian games like Cricket, Kabaddi, and Kho Kho along with listening to Indian fairy tales, taking nature walks, and learning about Indian heritage. They also celebrate Holi and Diwali.

This will be our twelfth annual Camp Bharat. It will be held at Camp McDowell, which is located at Nauvoo, Alabama, approximately two hours south of Huntsville.

Please don’t delay in registering for camp. We will take kids on a first come, first served basis. The charge for registering late is $50.00.
Counselors – 15 to 19 years old Campers – 6 to 14 years old
